Xavier Ramirez Lcsw

Xavier Ramirez, LCSW, currently serves as a Teaching Assistant at the School of Social Work, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, while also working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Carle Health and a Social Worker for the Village of Niles, IL. With a diverse background, Xavier has held positions including School Therapist at Specialized Education Services, Inc., Perinatal Enhanced Case Manager at University of Chicago Medicine, Crisis Counselor at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Bilingual Case Manager at BCFS Health & Human Services, and Research Assistant at The Chicago Center for HIV Elimination. Xavier is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, having previously earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work & Latina/o Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
