Ryan Lawler

Ryan Lawler currently serves as Finance Director for the Village of North Riverside since December 2021. Prior to this role, Ryan held multiple positions at the Government Finance Officers Association from January 2014 to December 2021, including Senior Manager, Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant/Policy Analyst. Between May 2010 and January 2014, Ryan was a Manager III and Senior Budget Analyst for the City of Dallas. Ryan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, obtained between 2019 and 2023, and a Master of Public Administration in Local Government Management from The University of Kansas, completed in 2011. Ryan's educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from The University of Kansas, earned in 2009, and study at the University of St. Francis from 2005 to 2007.
