Vicki Scaman

Victoria Scaman has served as Village President of Oak Park since 2011, where leadership is characterized by thoughtfulness and integrity. Scaman also holds the position of Chair of the Liquor Control Review Board. A candidate for Village President, Scaman's previous experience includes roles as Village Clerk at Oak Park Township from July 2015 to May 2017, and as Executive Director of Steckman Studio of Music Inc. for over a decade, where efforts focused on community coalition building and providing free music education. Earlier experience includes managing Tutto Tapas and teaching art at Lincoln and Roosevelt Jr. High within School District 148. Victoria Scaman holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Teacher and Social Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 1988 and 1993.
