Susan Westman

Susan Westman is a dedicated and experienced professional with a diverse background in healthcare, crisis intervention, and recreation. Currently serving as a Recreation Assistant for the Village of Orland Park, Illinois, since November 2022, Westman previously held various roles, including Associate Specialist in the IT Emerging Talent Rotational Program at Merck and Crisis Counselor Level 3 at Crisis Text Online, providing essential support to individuals in crisis. With a strong foundation in emergency medical services as an EMT-B and Crew Chief, as well as experience in academic settings as a Graduate Assistant and Research Assistant at Lehigh University, Westman has honed skills in management, data analysis, and interpersonal communications. Westman is currently pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Midwestern University and holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Lehigh University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
