Liz Dechant Mpa

Liz DeChant, MPA, serves as the Economic Development Coordinator for the Village of Winnetka since 2019, focusing on business development, community engagement, and the implementation of the Downtown Master Plan. Prior experience includes founding BlueGriffin Consulting from 2013 to 2020, assisting non-profits and small businesses with strategic planning and growth. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Urban Transportation Center (2018-2019), Liz contributed to delivering research on transportation systems in Illinois. Earlier roles include guiding neighborhood tours for the City of Chicago and managing economic development initiatives at North River Commission and LISC. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Service and Community Development from Beloit College and a Master of Public Administration in Public Management and Local Governance from the University of Illinois Chicago.
