Cydya Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and operational management. Currently serving as Senior Manager DEIB, Culture and Employee Engagement at VillageMD since February 2022, Cydya has previously held significant roles at ALPFA, Inc., where responsibilities included directing student initiatives and managing employee resource networks. Prior to this, Cydya contributed to JCPenney’s inclusion and diversity strategies, overseeing business resource teams and metrics tracking. Cydya's career also includes managerial positions in real estate and operations, with notable roles at Cook County Government and AEP Energy, demonstrating a strong ability to enhance team engagement and maintain operational efficiency. Cydya holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
