Alvaro Lopes

Alvaro Lopes is an experienced professional in supply chain management and logistics, currently serving as the PSE Program & Solution Support Lead at VillageReach since January 2017, where responsibilities include providing technical and strategic support for private sector engagement in health programs. Prior roles at VillageReach include leading the Outsourced Transport Resource Center and contributing to a distribution model for immunization vaccines across remote areas in Sub-Saharan Africa. Previous experience spans diverse positions in logistics and supply chain operations with organizations such as PSI-Mozambique, Unilever Mozambique, and Capital Star Steel Lda. Alvaro holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Pedagogic University of Mozambique, complemented by a secondary education in science from Nampula Secondary School.
