Renan Felipe Santos

Renan Felipe Santos has over a decade of experience in the metals industry, currently serving as Coordenador de Engenharia - Processos de Aciaria at Villares Metals since January 2011. Renan is skilled in controlling and optimizing vacuum melting processes, including Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) and various remelting techniques such as Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR) and Electroslag Remelting (ESR). Additionally, Renan has international experience through participation in Böhler-Uddeholm's "Young Graduate Program" in Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as attending the Consarc Experience Seminar in Orlando, USA. Prior experience includes a trainee position at the Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas, specializing in pyrometallurgical processing and computational thermodynamics. Renan holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo, completed in 2010.
