Cindy Veilleux

Cindy Veilleux has extensive experience in the field of arts and culture, currently serving as the Responsable des projets de diffusion numérique des collections at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal since January 2015. In this role, Cindy has been instrumental in the development of the MACrépertoire, a comprehensive online research tool for the museum's collections. Additionally, Cindy contributed to the creation of an ontology for Québec's cultural heritage through collaboration with the ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec. Active in the community, Cindy serves as a member of the comité consultatif des arts et de la culture of Boucherville and has held a position on the board of the Société du patrimoine de Boucherville. Past roles include communication officer and project coordinator at the Société des musées du Québec, focusing on museum governance and professional development. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art and Visual Arts and a specialized graduate diploma in museology from Université Laval.
