Valérie Vacchiani is an experienced project manager focused on sustainable development and environmental issues, currently working for Ville de Grenoble since September 2018 on innovative cultural heritage projects. Previously, Valérie served as a freelance consultant specializing in sustainable city initiatives from 2014 to 2018 and held the position of Deputy Director in the Public Space Department for the City of Grenoble from 2008 to 2010, where crosscutting management and project coordination were key responsibilities. Valérie also managed the environment and sustainable development department for the City of Echirolles, contributing to early Local Agenda 21 initiatives. Prior roles included agricultural adviser promoting organic farming and environment engineer responsible for local environmental programs. Valérie holds an Engineer degree in Agronomy with a focus on Environment and Sustainability and is furthering education as a Local Governments Engineer at ENACT.
