Josée Bédard

Josée Bédard currently serves as Directrice générale adjointe for Sécurité publique et services de proximité at Ville de Laval since June 2023. Prior to this role, Josée Bédard held the position of Directrice de l’expérience citoyenne et des communications at Ville de Montréal from February 2019 to June 2023. Between March 2007 and February 2019, Josée Bédard was Directrice d'arrondissement and Directrice des affaires publiques et greffe at Arrondissement de Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, where responsibilities included managing communications and customer service. Earlier experience includes serving as Directrice adjointe for Affaires publiques et greffe and Chef de division for Accueil et information at Arrondissement de Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce between 2002 and 2007, as well as in marketing and communications roles at Biodome et Planetarium de Montreal from 1994 to 2002. Josée Bédard holds an advanced management program certification from HEC Montréal and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication from Université Laval.
