Christos Markoutis has worked in various roles in the business development and sales sector since 2006. From 2006 to 2014, they were the General Manager and Sales & Business Development Manager at HAWI Energietechnik AG, where they were responsible for the wholesale of premium PV solutions and components to installers, distributors and EPCs. Christos achieved a 10% market share on residential systems and 35% year-over-year growth. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Sales & Business Development Manager at Recom Ltd, where they delivered €1.2m in net new business revenue. From 2016 to 2022, they were the Account Manager Strategic, Key and New Business at DTN, where they delivered €5.7m in net new business and upsell revenue. Currently, they are the Business Development Manager at Vimachem - IIoT Pharma 4.0 AI Platform, where they are helping customers unlock the full potential of their plant data and take decisions that impact the bottom line from day one.
Christos Markoutis received their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace - (D.U.Th.) between 1996 and 2003. Christos then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from Loughborough University between 2003 and 2004. In 2014, they earned a Certificate in Business Administration from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon in the field of Business Administration and Management. Finally, in 2015, they completed a course in Smart Grid: Sensing, Data Analytics and Control from Stanford Center for Professional Development.
