Eddy Vandersmissen, MBA

Eddy Vandersmissen, MBA, has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and corporate learning. Eddy is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at VINCI Energies Belgium since September 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Learning Officer / Director Corporate Academy at VINCI Energies from September 2015 to August 2020.

Before joining VINCI Energies, Eddy worked at VINCI Energies Belgium from August 2006 to August 2015, where they served as the Director of Human Resources from January 2012 to August 2015, and as the Human Resources Director Benelux from August 2006 to December 2011.

Eddy also has experience working with Shell as the Country HR Manager Belux from January 2004 to July 2006, and with Borealis as the Area HR Manager from May 1989 to December 2003.

Eddy Vandersmissen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from HEC Liège, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Liège. In 2001, they pursued a postgraduate program in Human Resources Management at Vlerick Business School. Additionally, in 1998, they completed another postgraduate program in CIGO (Consultancy in Groups and Organizations) at KU Leuven.
