Jari Huilla

Jari Huilla has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Jari started their career as a Trainee at Nokia in 2004 and later worked as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology from 2007 to 2010. During their time at the university, they also served as a System Support Specialist and gained experience in research and programming. In 2011, Jari worked as a Conscript/Programmer for the Finnish Defence Forces before transitioning to freelance web development as a self-employed contractor under Tmi Jari Huilla. In 2013, they joined Vincit as a Passionate Software Developer, where they focused on web development and also led some small projects. Over the years, they climbed the ladder and held the role of Project Lead, leading agile development and design teams of up to 8 people. Currently, they hold the position of Tech Director at Vincit.

Jari Huilla began their education at Päivölän kansanopisto from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued a Mathematics programme and obtained their Abitur degree. Later, from 2006 to 2016, they attended Tampere University of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, in October 2019, Jari Huilla obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance.
