Daniel Bath

Research Scientist, Horticultural Automation at Vineland Research

Daniel Bath is an experienced research scientist specializing in horticultural automation at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre since November 2020. Previously, Daniel held the position of postdoctoral research fellow at Max Planck Institute for Animal Behaviour, where research focused on the decision-making processes in animals and the decentralized processing of information in brains. Earlier research involved insightful studies on animal behavior as a doctoral student at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Institute for Molecular Pathology, examining the complexities beyond simple reflexes. Daniel earned a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Vienna and holds a Master's degree in Developmental Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Western University.
