Matthew Petry

Matthew Petry has a diverse work experience with roles in various industries. Matthew started their career in 2016 at Girder Music as a Social Media Manager, Marketing Assistant, and Website Editor. In 2017, they worked as an Independent Contractor (Photography) and Gallery Assistant at Joliet Junior College, where they documented student artwork and assisted with various art shows. Matthew also served as the Laura A. Sprague Art Gallery Assistant at Joliet Junior College, where they assisted with collecting and arranging artwork. In 2018, Matthew worked as an Art Gallery Assistant at Crossroads Gallery: Center for Contemporary Practice. From 2019 to 2021, they had roles as a Retention Specialist and an Art Gallery Assistant at Kansas City Art Institute and H&R Block Artspace, respectively. In 2021, they worked as a Barista at Cafe Nerman and then transitioned to Shift Lead - Barista at Parisi Coffee until 2023. Their most recent role is Creative Content Director at Vineyard Community Church, which they started in April 2023.

Matthew Petry attended Joliet Junior College from 2015 to 2018, where they achieved an Associate's Degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Animation from Kansas City Art Institute from 2018 to 2021.
