Joel Perron

Joel Perron currently serves as the Homologation Manager for Government Compliance & Safety at VinFast Canada, where responsibilities include monitoring Canadian regulations, guiding engineering teams on compliance, coordinating homologation activities, and interfacing with regulatory bodies across multiple countries. Prior experience includes a Compliance Specialist role at Honda Canada, where research and coordination of government reports on emissions and safety were key duties. Joel has also held leadership positions with various industry councils and served on the board of directors for the National Marine Manufacturers Association. Education includes a degree as a Computer Support Specialist from the Toronto School of Business and an OSSD from Ecole Secondaire St-Charles Garnier.
