Ralf Hedin

Ralf Hedin has extensive experience in leadership and management within public administration and law enforcement. Since September 2016, Ralf has served as the Kommundirektör at Vingåkers Kommun. Prior to this role, Ralf was the Utvecklingschef at Borlänge kommun from 2013 to August 2016, focusing on enhancing competencies in development work. Ralf's background also includes serving as the Operativ chef and ställföreträdande myndighetschef at Polismyndigheten i Örebro län from December 2008 to September 2012, overseeing all police operations in the region. Ralf held the position of Avdelningschef (tf) at Rikspolisstyrelsen in 2008, responsible for national methodology development for the police organization. Early career involvement includes nearly seven years at Regeringskansliet in the Justitiedepartementet, and roles as an inspector within the police between 1984 and 2000. Ralf holds several coaching certifications and degrees in political science from Uppsala University and the University of Gothenburg.
