Luca La Francesca has a diverse work experience. From April 2021 to October 2021, they worked at VINHOOD as a Product Manager & Key Account, Beverage Specialist & Beer Sommelier, and in Research & Development. Prior to that, from May 2020 to the present, they worked as a Food Editor at DesignTellers.it. Additionally, from July 2020 to November 2020, they served as a Service Design Intern at Oblo.
Luca La Francesca completed a Master Course in Food Design & Innovation at SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, they earned a 1° livello - Laurea L degree in Food System: Management, Sustainability and Technologies from Università degli Studi di Parma.
In terms of additional certifications, Luca obtained a Certificate of Completion (94/100) in the International Bartender Course from the European Bartender School in August 2022. They also completed a Coffee Sommelier Course in Sensory Skills Intermediate from the Specialty Coffee Association in June 2022. Other certifications include a Zertifikat Stufe A1 in Sprachenkolleg Kurs A1 from Universität Freiburg in September 2019, a Wine Sommelier Course (First Level) from the Associazione Italiana Sommelier in May 2019, a Beer Sommelier Course (First Level) from the Associazione Unionbirrai in April 2019, and a Brewing Techniques course from Accademia delle Professioni in October 2018.
Additionally, Luca has language certifications, including a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge Assessment English obtained in October 2017. They completed a Full Time CAE Preparation Course at Atlas Language School in Dublin in September 2017, and an Essential Programme at Edinburgh School of English in September 2016.
