Henry Davar

Henry Davar serves as the Corporate Beverage Director at Mozza Restaurant Group since July 2022 and has been a faculty member and Italian Wine Educator for Vinitaly International Academy since April 2018. Previously, Davar held the position of Wine Educator - Business Development Manager at Breakthru Beverage Nevada from January 2013 to September 2020. Experience includes serving as Wine Director at Lupa by Mario Batali in Hong Kong for a brief period and as a Harvest Intern at Vietti, Barolo. Davar also worked as Wine Director at Del Posto in New York City, a restaurant recognized with New York Times Four Stars and a Wine Spectator Grand Award. Additionally, experience includes being the Beverage Director for Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group and serving as Sommelier at Del Posto and The Modern in New York City. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Marketing from The Wharton School, certifications from Vinitaly International Academy, Wine and Spirits Education Trust, Cicerone Certification Program, Court of Master Sommeliers, and training in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education.
