Matt Himelfarb

Matt Himelfarb has a diverse range of work experience. Matt held the position of President at Vinli Inc, where they were responsible for company operations and played a key role in negotiating and closing major strategic deals. Matt also served as the COO, CFO, and General Counsel at Vinli Inc, handling various tasks such as financial decision making, fund raising support, and human resource management. Matt was a Board Member at AgSolver and played a role in the company from 2014 to 2016. At Phynd Technologies, Inc, they worked as the CFO and General Counsel, overseeing financial board reporting, accounting procedures, and legal matters. Matt also served as the Managing Partner at Dallas Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology-based businesses. Matt founded the firm and managed deal sourcing, due diligence, and negotiation. Matt was the CFO, General Counsel, Co-Founder, and Board Member at Yvolver, Inc., where they developed and sold the startup, handled financial decision making, board reporting, hiring, and risk management. Matt was involved with DFW TeXchange, serving as the Programming Chair in 2010 and becoming the President from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Matt worked as a Senior Associate at Trailblazer Capital and as the President/Founder of Mshares, Inc.

Matt Himelfarb attended Colgate University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Matt then pursued their legal and business education simultaneously at SMU Dedman School of Law and Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they obtained a JD/MBA degree with a focus on Finance and Law from SMU.
