Edward Sun

Edward Sun has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Edward began their career at Conexant in 1998 as a Senior Staff Hardware Design Engineer and worked there until 2007. Edward then joined Mercury Systems as a Senior Digital Design Engineer from 2008 to 2010. Edward worked at SEAKR Engineering as a Senior Computer Hardware Engineer from 2011 to 2012, but their project was cut short due to budget constraints. Edward also worked as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2012 to 2013, and then as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Actiontec Electronics from 2013 to 2014, where they were involved in various projects including broadband home router system design and wireless module design. In 2015, Edward worked at Cisco as a Senior DFR Engineer for a brief period before joining Violin Memory as a Principal Hardware/System Design Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Edward Sun completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at CSU, Fresno from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at CSU, Fullerton from 2005 to 2006.
