Mike Farren

Mike Farren is president of Vipond Inc., a national life safety company. Vipond inspects, maintains and installs fire protection, life safety and security systems with a purpose of Building Safe and Secure Communities.

Mike has over 27 years’ experience in the fire protection industry. During his successful career at Vipond he has held numerous positions including superintendent, construction manager and branch general manager of Edmonton Alberta location. Mike held the title branch general manager of the Mississauga location before assuming his current role as vice president.

Along with his dedication and commitment to the fire protection industry, Mike serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Automatic Sprinkler Association along with the Long Range Planning Committee and Executive Finance Committee.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Lori and sons Tom, Michael and Tyler. Mike enjoys coaching youth sports including hockey, soccer and baseball.
