Jenny Sager

Jenny Sager has had several roles in the field of clinical pharmacology. Jenny is currently working at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Vir Biotechnology from September 2020 to August 2022. Before joining Vir Biotechnology, they worked at Gilead Sciences as a Clinical Pharmacologist from November 2018 to September 2019 and as a Clinical Pharmacologist I from August 2017 to November 2018. Jenny also worked as a Scientist I DMPK at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from July 2016 to July 2017. Jenny started their career as a Ph.D. student at the University of Washington in September 2011, where they completed their doctoral studies in Biochemistry in June 2016. Jenny also gained industry experience during their time at Amgen as a Summer Intern from June 2013 to September 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist/Engineer I at the University of Washington Department of Biochemistry from September 2009 to July 2011. Jenny'searlier experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington Department of Pathology from April 2006 to September 2009.

Jenny Sager earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry with Honors and Microbiology from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Jenny later completed their education at the same university by obtaining a Doctor of Philosphy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmaceutics from 2011 to 2016.
