Samantha Yim has experience as a Senior Research Associate in Pharmacology at Vir Biotechnology, Inc., where Samantha conducts epitope mapping and escape variant identifications between influenza A neuraminidase and antibody candidates. Prior to that, Samantha worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist II in Research and Development, where Samantha designed and optimized qPCR assays for HLA and RBC genotyping. Samantha also has experience as a Scientist I in Manufacturing at Thermo Fisher Scientific, troubleshooting and optimizing assay conditions for HLA genotyping assays. Samantha has a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
