Simon Wu

Simon Wu is a seasoned cloud and network engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions and network infrastructures. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Virgin Galactic since June 2022, Simon has focused on creating cloud-based architectures using Azure, establishing governance standards, and leading modernization projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Cloud Engineer at Beckman Coulter, where Simon developed network environments in AWS, Azure, and OCI, and promoted a cloud-first strategy. Earlier positions include a Network Engineer role at Beckman Coulter, managing network monitoring applications, and a Network Administrator role at VXI Global Solutions, overseeing network infrastructure maintenance. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from California State University, Fullerton.
