Jeff Villegas is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design and implementation of complex systems. Currently employed at Virgin Hyperloop since June 2019, Jeff specializes in the design and commissioning of test rigs for Hyperloop vehicle subsystems, collaborating closely with engineers and technicians to optimize designs. Notable achievements include the significant reduction of weight in the Vehicle Electrical System of Project Pegasus and enhancements in system integration. Prior to this role, Jeff worked at Jabil CHAD Automation, where responsibilities included designing custom industrial automation machines and providing support for modular platforms. Earlier experiences also encompass a position at PMG and as a Lab Consultant at UCR Student Computing Services. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, attained in 2015.
