Veronica Szikszoy

Veronica Szikszoy has extensive experience in project management and risk offices. Veronica served as the Director of Project Management & Risk Offices at Hyperloop One, where they developed and implemented project management strategies and established the project management office. Veronica also implemented risk management practices across the organization. Before that, they worked as a Sr. Project Manager at Allscripts, managing large-scale programs for the implementation of medical enterprise software and IT outsourcing. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering/Sr. Manager of Network Operations at j2 Global, where they managed cross-departmental programs and projects, as well as mentored a team of professionals. Veronica also served as Sr. Manager of Engineering/SW QA at Motorola, where they directed multi-national project teams in product development and strategic program implementation. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Laboratory Systems/Sr. Manager of Engineering at Alpha Therapeutic Corporation, overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects and ensuring operational integrity. Lastly, they were the Manager of Engineering/Product Compliance at Siemens, where they led compliance initiatives and managed successful ISO and FDA audits.

Veronica Szikszoy has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington. Veronica also pursued studies in Software Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and Engineering Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, they hold certifications in Organizational Change Management from Prosci and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, obtained in October 2014. Veronica is currently an (ISC)² Candidate, working towards a certification from (ISC)², which they are expected to obtain in September 2022.
