Merle Wynter

Merle Wynter is a dedicated professional with a background in education and program management. Currently serving as a Program Assistant at the Virgin Islands Department of Education since April 2018, Merle facilitates weekly group therapy sessions for junior high and high school students and develops Behavior Intervention Plans. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Program Director at WestCare Foundation, where Merle led the Strengthening Families program and managed the referrals system. Merle's earlier experience as an Administrative Assistant at Northern Virginia Community College involved assisting students with technology and financial aid applications, and as a Sales Associate at Carter's | OshKosh B'gosh, Merle focused on customer service and cash management. Merle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Walden University and an Associate of Science in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Northern Virginia Community College.
