Amy Essex is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital communications, product ownership, and optimisation within the telecommunications and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Head of Experimentation and Optimisation at Virgin Media O2 since June 2021, Amy has previously held multiple senior roles at Virgin Media, including Senior Product Owner and Senior Digital Communications & eCommerce Manager. Before that, Amy worked at Grant Thornton UK LLP as Content and Community Manager, spearheading a successful mental health campaign, and served as Communications & Public Relations Consultant at Direct Line Group, where significant engagement strategies were developed. Amy’s career began at Royal Bank of Scotland, where event coordination and pensions administration were key roles.
