Ted Soto

Vice President, Investing & Stewardship at Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church

Ted Soto currently serves as the Vice President of Investing & Stewardship at the Virginia United Methodist Foundation, a position held since November 2015, where responsibilities include assisting churches with strategic planning, mission identification, and planned giving development, managing over $80 million in assets, providing loans for various church projects, and offering educational programs in stewardship. Previously, Ted served as the Executive Director at Goodman Allen & Donnelly, overseeing a multi-office law firm and managing a substantial support staff. Ted's commitment to the arts is evidenced by a role as a Board Member and Treasurer at the Virginia Repertory Theatre from 2005 to June 2012. Ted holds an MBA in International Management from Xavier University, a degree in Mathematics and Economics from Miami University, and completed the General Electric Financial Management Program, equivalent to an MBA, focusing on accounting, finance, and auditing.
