Julia Tan

Julia Tan is currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UVA McIntire School of Commerce and is an Incoming 2025 Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Wells Fargo. Julia holds the position of Chief Investment Officer for Smart Woman Securities at UVA, managing an equity fund with approximately $105K AUM, and also contributes as a Project Leader and Investment Board Member within the organization. Julia's experience includes a role as a Digital Marketing Intern at SnugFit Solutions, an Analyst with Virginia Consulting Group, and participation in the BNP Paribas CIB Open Sophomore Opportunity Summit. In addition, Julia worked as an Instructor at Fairfax Collegiate, LLC, focusing on public speaking, speech, and leadership. Julia is pursuing education at UVA McIntire School of Commerce and the University of Virginia, having previously studied at Northern Virginia Community College and Mclean High School, where an Advanced Studies Diploma was earned.
