Lisa Clemmer

Lisa Clemmer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance across various organizations. Currently serving as the Governance & Risk Manager at Virginia Credit Union since September 2022, Lisa oversees the Enterprise Risk Management and Policy & Information Governance programs. Previously, Lisa held roles at Dominion Energy as a Cyber Compliance Specialist, at Capital One in multiple capacities related to card data stewardship, and at the Virginia Department of Social Services as a Senior Financial Compliance Analyst. Early career experiences include positions at Capital One as a Senior Compliance Specialist and Senior Compliance Auditor, as well as a Retail Location Analyst at SunTrust. Lisa holds a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Richmond and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Virginia Commonwealth University.
