Maurice Curran

Maurice Curran is a Microelectronics Process Engineer at Virginia Diodes, Inc. since July 2023, previously an intern at the same company earlier in 2023. Curran also serves as a bartender at EATS2SEATS, providing beverages and maintaining customer relationships during UVA athletic events. As an undergraduate researcher in the Choi Laboratory at the University of Virginia since August 2021, Curran's work focuses on Förster-type resonance energy transfer in quantum dots and the development of advanced synthetic methods. Prior experience includes a Manufacturing Execution Systems Internship at CSL Behring, a guest researcher role at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and positions at The Home Depot and NOVA SySTEMic, contributing to customer service and STEM education respectively. Maurice Curran holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
