Melanie Mitchell

Melanie Mitchell is a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer at Virginia Diodes, Inc. since June 2013, managing quality assurance and systems while serving on the safety team and previously as the ESD Program Manager from 2014 to 2018. As a broadcaster for the University of Virginia, starting in March 2016, Melanie provides color commentary for UVA softball and baseball on ACC Network Extra and online radio. Prior experience includes coaching high-intensity training classes at M3 Core Training and serving as a Student Athlete Mentor at the University of Virginia. Melanie was also a member and co-captain of the UVA Softball Team, achieving notable recognition such as VaSID State Pitcher of the Year in 2010. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, earned in 2013.
