Mark Anthony Millan, MSHA

Mark Anthony Millan, MSHA has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Mark Anthony began their career at One Community Health as the Director of Business Services and Operations, where they worked from 1994 to 2002. Following this, they joined Family HealthCare Network and held positions as the Director of Patient Services from 2002 to 2007, and later as the Director of Managed Care/Contracting from 2007 to 2012.

In 2012, Millan moved to San Ysidro Health Center, where they served as the Director of Revenue Cycle for one year. Mark Anthony then joined United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley as the Director of Managed Care/Contracting in 2013.

From 2014 to 2015, Millan worked as the Chief Operations Officer at Golden Valley Health Centers. Mark Anthony then transitioned to Omni Family Health, where they held multiple roles. Mark Anthony started as the Director of Operations/Mergers and Acquisitions from 2016 to 2019, subsequently served as the Interim Chief Operations Officer for a brief period, and eventually became the Chief Operations Officer from 2019 to 2021.

Currently, Millan is working as the Chief Operations Officer at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center and Foundation, a position they began in September 2021. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the organization's operations and plays an active role in various committees and partnerships within the healthcare industry.

Throughout their career, Millan has demonstrated a strong focus on health center operations, managed care, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and contracting. Mark Anthony has also been actively involved in organizations such as the NACHC and has served on multiple committees and boards.

Mark Anthony Millan, MSHA holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Trident University International. Prior to obtaining their Master's degree, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences/Health Care Management from the same institution. Mark Anthony also holds a Diploma in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Additionally, Mark has an Associate's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the College of the Sequoias.
