Alonzo Parker

Alonzo Parker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alonzo is currently working at The Port of Virginia as a Marine Manager, a role they took on in April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Manager Stevedoring from July 2022 to April 2023, and as the Assistant Operations Manager from December 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining The Port of Virginia, Alonzo worked at Target as an Operations Manager from September 2017 to October 2020.

Starting their career in 2007, Alonzo spent ten years at Norfolk Southern Corporation, where they held the position of Intermodal Operations Manager from June 2007 to September 2017.

Alonzo began their professional journey at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Management Trainee in January 2007, and prior to that, they worked at Ford Motor Company as a Paint Technician from February 2003 to December 2006.

Alonzo also gained experience in customer service while working as a Customer Service Representative at Alltel Wireless from June 2001 to February 2003.

Alonzo'searly career involved serving in the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Propulsion Technician from January 1998 to June 2001.

Alonzo Parker completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication, General from Old Dominion University in 2006. Prior to that, they attended Indian River High School from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued General Studies.
