Brooks Smith

Brooks Smith serves as the Managing Partner of the Richmond office at Troutman Pepper, a position held since August 2013, following 13 years at Hunton & Williams. In addition to this role, Brooks provides legal counsel for the Corporate Environmental Enforcement Council and the Virginia Manufacturers Association, as well as the EPRI Ohio River Basin Interstate Water Quality Trading Project, and holds the position of Director of Environmental Affairs for the Metallurgical Coal Producers Association. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Art History from the University of Richmond.
