Jackie Oldenburg

Jackie Oldenburg has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. In 2009, they began their career as a Student Researcher at the International Institute for Counter Terrorism, where they conducted research. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Engility formerly Dynamics Research Corporation, focusing on information system security and identity management for the U.S. In 2014, Jackie joined Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. as a Program Manager, supporting the Strategic Intelligence and Analysis Cell within the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. There, they directed an analytical effort providing comprehensive decision support to the R&E community. Most recently, in 2022, Jackie joined the Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation as an Associate Director for the Strategy, Policy, and Planning Division, overseeing innovation hubs for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. Prior to this role, they also served as a Lead Project Manager at the same company.

Jackie Oldenburg completed their education in a chronological manner. Jackie obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Analytics Engineering from the George Mason University - College of Engineering and Computing in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Military and Strategic Leadership from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and completed it in 2015. Jackie'sundergraduate education was at Reichman University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Terrorism and Counterterrorism Operations in 2011.
