Natalie Wimmer

Natalie Wimmer (Forbes) is an experienced professional in student-athlete development, currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Director at Virginia Tech Athletics since August 2021. Wimmer held multiple roles at Virginia Tech, including Senior Director, Director, and Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development from August 2014 to January 2022. Prior experience includes an internship with the Virginia Tech Athletic Department of Student Life and involvement with Relay for Life and Sigma Kappa Sorority. Wimmer's background in athletics is further complemented by internships with the Morehead City Marlins and the Peninsula Pilots baseball teams. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Sports Management from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management from Virginia Tech. Wimmer's foundational education was completed at Kecoughtan High School.
