John Booth has extensive work experience in the field of anesthesia. John started their career as a Faculty Member at Duke University in 1995 and worked there until 2004. In 2006, they joined Total Anesthesia and served as the Chairman until 2010. John then moved on to HCA Healthcare in 2013, where they held the position of O.R. Medical Director. At the same time, they became the Chief of Anesthesia at Retreat Doctors Hospital under North American Partners in Anesthesia. In 2019, they joined Virginia Urology as an Anesthesiologist and eventually became the Chief of Anesthesia in 2021.
John Booth received their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from the University of Glasgow in 1989. John then pursued further studies in cardiovascular science at the University of Cambridge from 1992 to 1994, although they did not complete a specific degree during this time. Later, they returned to the University of Glasgow and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine, which they earned by 2006.
