Mary Ryberg

Mary Ryberg is currently the VP of Finance at Virginia Wesleyan University. Prior to their current position, they were with Chicagoland Realty and There is a Time to Travel, LLC. Mary has over 20 years of experience in finance and began their career as the Accounting Manager at the American Academy of Pediatrics. In their role at the Illinois College of Optometry, they were responsible for directing all aspects of the finance office. These duties included financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, student billing, federal loans, general ledger, budgeting, cashier services, and audit.

Mary Ryberg has a Master's of Science in Accounting from Roosevelt University, a Graduate Credential in Forensic's and Fraud from Roosevelt University, and a Bachelors in Accounting from Roosevelt University. Mary also has certification from CLIA in Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC), AICPA in CPA (Certified Public Accountant), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in Certified Fraud Examiner, and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.
