Malinda Carter

Malinda Carter currently serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources at the Virginia Community College System since June 2020 and is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Previously, Malinda held the position of Executive Director of Human Resources at Joliet Junior College and was an Adjunct Faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University. Malinda has extensive experience in human resources leadership, having served as VP of Human Resources at Saint Anthony Hospital and VP Human Resources; Senior Director at HR Strategy and Leadership. Additional roles include HR Consulting Director at CNA Insurance and HR Manager at Sears, Roebuck and Co. Malinda holds a Master of Science in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Fayette- Eberly Campus.
