Tom Watton

Tom Watton is an experienced operations leader with a background in managing recycling facilities and enhancing operational efficiencies. Currently serving as a Shift Team Leader at Viridor since February 2019, Tom previously held the position of Operations Manager at Bristol Waste Company from August 2017 to February 2019. Responsibilities included overseeing the safe management of multiple recycling centers, implementing safety protocols, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Tom effectively managed a large team, optimized operational KPIs, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining high performance and quality in recycling processes. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Bath Spa University, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
