Heather Hunsinger

Heather Hunsinger is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Virta Health since February 2024. Previously, Hunsinger spent over 12 years at Splunk, advancing from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer and leading the Splunkbase team, a key content delivery application. Hunsinger’s expertise includes web development and application maintenance using various technologies such as Python, Django, and AWS. Prior experience includes roles at UC Berkeley Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, where Hunsinger was promoted to lead web developer, and the Naval Postgraduate School, providing support for customized learning management systems.
