Himanshu Karvir

Himanshu Karvir is the co-founder, president, and CEO of Virtelle Hospitality, LLC since 2017. In 2016, they also co-founded and co-chaired Horizons at Carolina Day School, a non-profit organization providing summer enrichment to underserved communities. Himanshu became the chair of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Asheville & Buncombe County in 2017. From 2015 to 2022, they served as the chair of the Board of Directors for the BC Tourism Development Authority. Himanshu Karvir was the general manager of Holiday Inn Asheville - Biltmore West from 2003 to 2020. Himanshu also held various positions in several organizations, such as the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, UNC Asheville, and the Asheville Convention and Visitors Bureau. Additionally, they participated as a committee member in the Tourism Product Development Fund Committee and served as a volunteer for the YMCA of Western North Carolina's 2015 Annual Campaign.

Himanshu Karvir completed a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the years 1997 to 2000. Following this, they attended North Central College from 2001 to 2002, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided.
