Sean Lewis

Sean Lewis has over 20 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. Sean is currently working as a QA Software Lead at VirTra, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, from November 2020 to May 2023, Sean worked as a Software Test Engineer at AVT Simulation, where they executed test plans, evaluated software requirements, and created and executed test cases.

Before AVT Simulation, Sean was a Quality Assurance Analyst II at DSS, Inc. from August 2020 to November 2020. From October 2014 to April 2020, they worked at Bohemia Interactive Simulations as a Mid QA Analyst, where they developed and wrote test plans, performed functional and integration testing, and created high-level test scenarios.

Sean also gained experience as a QA Analyst at Electronic Arts (EA) from August 2010 to October 2014. In this role, they created test cases, analyzed software performance, identified problems, and suggested improvements. Sean worked on various teams within the company and tested software on consoles, mobile, and PC.

Prior to their career in software quality assurance, Sean served as a Franchisee at Jani-King International, Inc. from May 2005 to July 2010. Sean was responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff, bidding for cleaning contracts, and providing quality cleaning services. Sean was recognized as the Franchisee of the Year in 2007.

Sean also worked as an Enumerator at the U.S. Census Bureau from January 2010 to June 2010, conducting interviews with residents and collecting census data following strict guidelines and confidentiality laws. And at the start of their career, they were a Senior QA Tester at Electronic Arts (EA) from February 2002 to February 2005, where they tested all aspects of compliance and reported issues to the development team.

Sean Lewis has a degree in Audio Engineering from Full Sail University. Sean also has an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Florida Technical College. Additionally, they attended Jackson State University and studied Mass Communication/Media Studies, although they did not obtain a degree in this field.
