Tamir Nitzan has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of more than 20 years. Tamir started their career as a Lieutenant in the Israeli Navy before transitioning to the role of Senior Software Developer at Elron. After that, Tamir worked at Boots as a Consulting Architect where they led the development of the company's online store. Tamir then joined Avenue A | Razorfish as a Technical Architect, where they were involved in various phases of projects and contributed to notable work for clients such as Boots. Later, they joined Dell, Inc. as a Consulting Architect through SBI, where they worked on multiple projects including writing the discounts and coupons system, initiating the Agent Cockpit project, and expanding the Dellserv (CRM) solution. Tamir's next role was at Medtronic, where they served as a Sr Manager & Software Architect in the R&D department. Currently, Tamir is the SVP of Software Development and Infrastructure at Virtu Financial.
Tamir Nitzan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995. However, Tamir did not complete the Ph.D. program in Neural Computations at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which was pursued from 1996 to 1999. Prior to higher education, Tamir attended Leo Baeck High School from 1984 to 1990, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
