Jefferson Salazar

Jefferson Salazar's work experience includes various roles in the field of network security and engineering. Jefferson started their career at Accenture as an Associate Software Engineer, where they worked as a Software Defect Manager from March 2014 to May 2015. Jefferson then joined inspiro as a Network Engineer from October 2015 to January 2017. Following that, they worked at Concentrix as a Google Network Operations Engineer from January 2017 to December 2018. Jefferson then transitioned to Conduent, where they served as an Information Security Engineer II from December 2018 to January 2022. Currently, they are employed at VirtualArmour as a Network Security Engineer, starting in January 2022.

Jefferson Salazar received their Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Marinduque State College (MSC) from 2008 to 2013. Jefferson also obtained the Electronics Technician Board Examination (ECT) certification from the Philippine Regulation Commission in January 2014. In addition, they passed the Electronics and Communication Engineer (ECE) Board Examination in January 2014.

Furthermore, Jefferson obtained numerous certifications related to their field. Jefferson received the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) 4 from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2019. Jefferson also acquired the Computer and Hardware Servicing NC II certification from TESDA: Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in May 2009.

Additionally, Jefferson holds the Palo Alto Certified Network Security Administrator certification from Palo Alto Networks, obtained in December 2022. Jefferson possesses the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate certifications from Fortinet, achieved in October 2020. Moreover, they have the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) v10 - Practical and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) v10 ANSI certifications from EC-Council, obtained in August 2019 and June 2019 respectively.

Lastly, Jefferson received the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco in March 2015, and the Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise certification from Cisco in August 2018.
