Will Stead

Will Stead has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Will began their career as an IT Manager at BAe (Consultancy Services) in 1994 and worked there until 1999. Will then joined BAE Systems as an IS Technical Manager from 1999 to 2001. After that, they held the role of Business & IT Manager at BAE SYSTEMS (INTERNATIONAL) LIMITED from 2001 to 2004, where they were responsible for developing business strategies and supporting stakeholders in filling capability gaps. Will then served as the Head of Information and Knowledge Management at the same company from 2004 to 2007. From 2008 to 2011, Will was the Head of Information Management at BAE SYSTEMS Saudi Arabia, accountable for delivering IT services and managing projects across the UK and Saudi Arabia. In 2012, they joined Virtue Technologies Limited as the Head of Operations, where they provided guidance and support to schools, colleges, and Multi Academy Trusts in developing and implementing IT strategies. Will held this position until November 2018 when they became the Operations Director at the same company. Additionally, Will has been a Board Member at Nugent since March 2015.

Will Stead attended Lancaster University School of Management from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Management with a field of study in Business Administration and Management. Will also attended the University of Central Lancashire from 1985 to 1987, majoring in Computer Aided Engineering, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution. In 2013, they enrolled at the University of Maryland College Park to study Disruptive Technologies, and their education status is ongoing. Furthermore, Will Stead holds the certification of Fellow of BCS from the British Computer Society - The Chartered Institute for IT, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
